Pure's digital radios pump up the volume at CES

LAS VEGAS--Pure, a consumer facing subsidiary of graphics company Imagination Technologies, has made its name with a range of innovative, attractive Internet, FM and digital radios.

A British company, Pure made its debut in the UK with its Evoke-1 in 2002, which was so successful, it catapulted the firm to become the largest digital radio manufacturer in the world.

Built specifically with materials and a design to promote high-quality sound, Pure's radio products use Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet --even when WPA2 secured-- offering users access to thousands of radio stations and podcasts globally, as well as allowing the owner to listen to music stored locally on their own home networked computers.



All Pure radios also feature FM reception with RBDS (Radio Broadcast Data System), meaning they can be used anywhere, for access to both local and national stations.

Is there any other products which pure make. I don't see anything really fancy about this FM radios other than the fancy side.

I totally agree with Kiran. I also can't see any attractive features for Pure's new digital readio at CES.

Kiran - they're not FM radios. They are internet connected radio and streaming devices.
